I finished the buddha drawing!!

Finally i've finished the buddha drawing... geesh! Took like 6 lessons to do this, since 18 March!

Newer Dreams!

It’s the time of the year where I get all lost and confused and wonder what I should be doing with my life. It’s a mid-year crisis. I’m now thinking… why do I do what I do? Why do I spend so much time on this, or that? What do I want to do more?

And as a result, I get all caught up in the wants and don’ts… although I also believe in Psalms 23:1 which says, “The Lord is My Shepherd, I shall not Want…”

Heh… anyway, sometimes, we just have to be less uptight… dream a bit… want a bit… and then, there’ll be more motivation for living life… isn’t it? (Eh.. somehow this sounds a bit dark…. Well, I’m in a moody mood today…) So here goes… once again, my list of the latest dreams and ideas of what I wanna do to live life up.. and make life fun and exciting:

Take up Japanese language lessons (this August!)
Get a viola… (yes still on the list!)
Tour the world… visit Japan, New Zealand, Cambodia, Tibet, New York, China, India, Greece, Rome, Italy, France-Taize, Switzerland, Germany, Finland-Sweden, maybe Cape Town.. Brazil..
Get fit, hike some mountain, get adventurous again…
Do water-rafting at least once in my life... same with doing Skiing in the mountains..
Try out wakeboarding (still on the list!)
Within Singapore, try out food from more new places!
Visit the Bird-park, or nature reserves…
Bring Dad & Mum for a Pulau Ubin trip
Bowling in the dark (glow in the dark pins)
Shop for lotsa new clothes.
Take up photography…??!
Finish all my unfinished web projects! There’s like 6 of them!!! (Personal, PHP, Cordas Quad, CSA Alumni, Forerunner, OLPS Youth)

Shugo Chara

Oh man... latest little craze.. this kiddy anime called Shugo Chara (read more). It's actually quite nice... ahaha.. it talks about how each person has a "real you" inside... the "would-be" you.

Amu (the main character) has 3 guardian 'charas', which were borne out of her desire to be her real self. They represent her "would-be" self. One is sporty, one is a great cook, one is good in art. Amu on the other hand, is always trying to hide her true self, putting on a cold, aloof facade, yet inside, she is thinking differently.

Funny how a simple anime like this can teach people about yourself, and about living out your true potential.

And so i'm going to give this one a bit of a chance.. see how far i can last (it is really a kiddy anime...) but oh well.. for now, I am just fascinated with the 3 little cute guardians... Ran, Su and Miki... i like miki.. of course.. the artist. hehehehehe...
